As the former Vice president of th 2nd Largest Homebuilder in the USA, I have been supervising multi million dollar projects for the last 30 years.  I have overseen construction from the first bulldozer until there are dishes in the cabinets.  I am confident that there is not an inspector that could possibly be more qualified than myself.  I have taken thousands of hours of continuous education throughout the years.  Make sure to ask for  Experience and Qualifications when interviewing inspectors.  We have all taken the same classes.  Ask for  a strong construction background.  They may be a carpenter, a plumber, an electrician, however, see if any have overseen every aspect of the building process.
